PATCH NOTES JUNE 25, 2024 - THE "BIG VISUAL UPDATE"

Version: 0.25.0-10162

This update focuses on the game's presentation and ‘path to game’ visual- and audio- design and feedback. As such, main menu visuals, SFX, UI layout and UX have been overhauled to follow a new visual direction.

The update also includes highly anticipated fixes that will allow top players of Ranked and Death Run to break even more records.

Following that are a smattering of client updates and quality-of-life changes.

PvP

  • Post Match Scene, updated design and visual feedback
  • End of match Scene, updated design
  • Removed the max cap for earning ranked points
  • Players will now be notified if a teammate leaves the match.

Ranked

  • Make sure to exclude players who leave matches from any in-game rewards
  • Ensure that players who leave a ranked match prior to match ending get the match counted as a loss

Death Run

  • Max weapon levels increased to 25
  • Max level of all enemies raised to increase late stage difficulty

Heroes

Noble

We found Noble’s metrics (damage, eliminations, and pick rate) were falling short of our desired targets, so we’ve given the character some focused buffs to increase his competitive utility versus the rest of the roster.

We’ve lowered Noble’s damage per hit, but increased his rate of fire. This results in a higher overall damage output which should increase those elimination scores. With a larger deployment range and shorter cooldown, Noble’s trap is now more of an offensive tool that will help ground those pesky opponents.

Changes

  • Main weapon
    • Damage per hit: 60 > 32
    • Rate of fire : 0.7 > 0.3
    • Ammo : 9 > 20
  • Bear Trap
    • Cooldown 12 > 6
    • Deployment range 700 > 1600
    • Target effect time 20 > 10

Riot

We found Riot’s individual strike damage to be a bit too oppressive, so we decreased his damage per hit slightly and increased his rate of fire to balance out his offensive prowess. We are confident these changes will maintain his combat utility while providing a more balanced overall play experience.

  • Sword

    • Rof 0.7 > 0.75
